old

“Elected Silence sing to me
And beat upon my whorled ear,
Pipe me to pastures still and be
The music that I care to hear.
-GERALD MANLY HOPKINS.

~If by chance this come to pass
Distance longer; and
Less fonder, the heart,
And if, the string that bind us two,
Untie and loosen at its sweet will too,
And all hopes turn dupes
For some mistake…
Thoughts that do not hesitate
Deaths or prangs that life will play
With hearts of gold and souls of clay
If cries follow often, laughters
May, but then do not mind..
If I’m not there!

“And thus we sit together now,
And all night long we have not stirred,
And yet God has not said a word!”

ROBERT BROWNING (Porphyria’s Lover) 1842

~The chorus of the evening fall
Faintly upon my ears
From a distance, the bushes scream
In melodious tones but escape
My ears-and years since
I lost my sense.
A single loud cry of the speaker
And I’m a different me.
When in evening I sit and listen
The chorus that for years have been
Stored within
Perhaps the trees are cut down low
And the dwellers lost their home
But the sound in me carries on
It’s the chaunt and the dirge life long
A single flash and I lost
My sensibility to see
The visuals all blurred and
Depressed into reality, a certain
Darkness, which seemed to have
An end but never did
The blackness is a colour,
I cease to see –since then
I’ve felt to see.

~The fountains of your sweetness flow at ease
And mine in disgustful violence
A smack of conscience and
Creeps in all dismayed tenderness
Hush! All things that may
Have in years taken a tender shape
And future would equally caress
With abundant love-to yield
This joy at which these words pour.

~Man if any more lives on this earth – live by the erotic desire of the body and the soul is somewhat lost into the vacuum of skeleton and flesh – the sound of the flowing blood and its natural redness seems so common –at birth yet the longingness of compassion and relativity of relations have not passed the test of time-is man merely a reproducing organism, is love a promise only for the bride and groom and is that love only to be found in the birth of a child and not at least in the joint effective care for the rest of the people of the world?

~By chance or by some mistake
Here fades internal injury
Of a glorious kind~
That I had loved, and shall love never more.

How secretly sleep love laden
Emperors of the red light zone
Felt ever by the urchins
Hope, call them next to never.

Poor falls all winter
On those footpath beds
Brains that rest upon a brick pillow
And laboured muscles on asphalt care

Sweet home that dearly called
Oh! ‘Tis a factory instead
Workers assemble to sell their bed
And present a sheltered care.

Ever be such love for no reason
And somehow manage to give
Not knowing how hearts ebb
As life sprouts therein.

Love that falls like eh! Fall
Chilling thoughts that flood our minds
Oft if we think deeper
They are but free and fine.

Hapless goes their love
Like strangers meet and part
Who knows their souls have met
Or, they carry a secret in their heart.

Call it more humble
No one knows for sure
Eh! Love what goes undefined
If at all you try!

                            ~That willful suffering of mischief
                                       Such love there ever be
Never I know who he (really) is.

~And depths of passion fill, eh! Brain
No words of love could compensate
Who it was, and is today
Whether the same, or a different arrogance
If at all thee pass by
 Will there be love anymore
At first sight..
And hours full of knowledge yield
That thought of silly mischievous
A wild fantasy of awkward heroes
Sound asleep for no tomorrow
That same thought of yester years
Fill my mind to bring more fears
That sound of the compassionate sane
Search wider incase ‘tis a friend
if at all the mirror cracks
All words in mind follow a cataract
If at all thee felt the chords
Flowing in violent chaunts
If at all- all dismay lead
(To) a burning fantasy of a certain eve.

~Oh! Carry me back to the past I’ll live
That moment when I felt the urge
To live a longer life.
So soon a life-long lane
Crossed over and rest for end
Oh! Carry me back to the past I’ll live
A longer life, instead!

~What generous emotions yield this passion?
Of an art so sane in the eyes of an insane
Thus, led to a wailful conclusion
At the descent of Venus.
It is not at all a worthy relationship
For thee doesn’t care-
But oh! A fool to infatuation
‘Tis pains dissolve pills no wonder
Frightened by life’s sudden thunder
At the lustful eyes of youth
What pretty fools to this shameful bliss
How do go on still with that same ease
Yet with keen desire at doubt
When thee least care
Of that dead under life’s shroud
Or, is as equal inclined
Not so a close kin to thine
To visit ‘tis abode so close!
And thus eh! Pauses
Yield unrest in fears
Doubt, agony and shame
What this arrogance led
On a certain eve of Feb.
